Keeping Up With Kennedy

Kennedy has been bugging me for a month about having red hair. She really want to dye it. I was very hesitant because I could not find a temorary hair color that was red. We finally found one at Harmon's last night. It should wash out after 8 to 10 shampoos. She wanted to surprise Shane so he hid downstairs during the half hour it took for the color to set. She was very patient while I hovered around her to keep the color off the furniture and carpet.


The tub was red during the rinsing process. Kennedy was disapponted becasue her wet hair did not look very red. After, we dried it she was very excited. Shane and I both think it looks really great. The red color really matches her skin tone.


We were a little worried that she would get in trouble for it at school. We found out the next day that they have a policy about bright hair color. Luckily, the red is close enough to being natural. I guess we will have to save the purple dye for next summer.
